Our Adoption Process:
Here's a quick overview of our adoption process:
Pay the Application Fee: A small, non-refundable fee helps us cover the costs of processing your application.
Submit Your Application: Tell us about yourself and your home environment.
Phone Interview: If your application looks like a good fit, we'll schedule a phone interview to learn more about you and your lifestyle.
Meet & Greet: Next, you'll meet your pup in person! This is a chance to interact and see if you're a match.
Adoption Day (if it's a great fit!): If everyone agrees it's a perfect match, you'll pay the adoption fee, sign the paperwork, and take your new furry friend home!
Our Adoption Fees:
Puppy/Adult Adoption Fee: $550
Senior Adoption Fee: $295
Our adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, vaccines (age-appropriate and up-to-date at the time of adoption), microchips, and deworming (if necessary). Our dogs are thoroughly vetted, and all veterinary records are available to potential adopters.
Once an application is emailed, please allow at least 48 hours for a reply.
Our Adoption Policies:
At The Pittie Project PNW, the well-being of our dogs is our top priority. We want to ensure that every adoption results in a happy and successful match for the dog and their new family. To achieve this, we have a few important adoption policies in place:
Right to Decline: We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason if we believe it's not in the dog's best interest. We carefully consider each application and make decisions based on what we feel will provide the most suitable and loving home for each dog.
Non-Refundable Application Fee: The $25 application fee is a non-refundable donation that helps us cover the costs of processing your application. The fee is not refundable even if the dog you applied for is adopted before we review your application.
Alternative Suggestions: If the dog you applied for is no longer available or if we feel they might not be the best fit for your family, we're happy to offer suggestions for other dogs in our care who may be a better match. We know our dogs very well and are committed to finding the perfect companion for every adopter.
Our Commitment to Responsible Adoption: We take our responsibility to our dogs very seriously. If, for any reason, we feel that you might not be the right fit for one of our dogs, we encourage you to explore other adoption options. Many wonderful organizations and shelters are dedicated to finding loving homes for dogs in need.
